Although I liked the enclosure, I thought the pool harked back to the otter pools of the 70's. The square concrete edges, with the awful yellow paint being worn away, and the fake bricks.

i've never seen it in person - but then i don't think its necessary -
i find the whole "wild asia" area of dubbo is a prime example of a poorly researched, poorly landscaped, money wasting attempt at "immersion" by people with no artistic credibility. not for a second is this even remotely reminiscent of a either natural or man made terai landscape.
definitely a candidate for one of the ugliest modern exhibits in australia.
