What enclosure used to be here? I can't work it out from the picture!

PS, GillP would you be able to update me on anymore developments in the zoo, thanks Roz

Yipeeee its not been credit crunched :)

Think its the marmoset enclosure looking at the shape of the windows??

I couldn't remember what used to be on this corner either I'm afraid Roz (and nor could my other half, despite the fact we must have walked past it loads of times). However, this building site does also incorporate what used to be the steep outdoor 'waterfall' area for the margays .......... who have now been moved (to who knows where, as the notice on their old indoor enclosure didn't say) and replaced by what looks like a single Geoffroy's cat.

There is another photo in the gallery showing the notice alongside this site about the new leopard development, which also includes an aerial photo with the new area superimposed on it.

I think that it could have been cuban hutias or mongoose lemurs in this enclosure. Have they taken up the area where the old otter enclosure used to be (the round one which later housed tamarins/marmosets). This is strange as I was under the impression that they were going to leave this area alone and use the dik dik paddock and the tamarin enclosure at the bottom of Dende's area.
