That's good news. I hope we will see an increase in breeding in several collections. Whipsnade is the place I expect to breed Reticulated Giraffes first.
I agree with Bongorob and Pertinax, I prefer Reticulated Giraffes rather than the normal Rothschild's. Their patterning is more attractive than other Giraffe sub-species.
I would too, as both the Whipsnade females are fully mature, and the homebred one (at least) has bred previously anyway. Don't know about the other one? But Colchester shouldn't be too far behind.
