Think there were 6 or 7 wallabies here ........ wasn\'t very exciting at all.

Any zoo that takes off show the only Rocky Mountain Goats in the country and replaces them with a nondescript enclosure for one of the most widely-kept zoo animals going is a zoo that has made a mistake in my book.

Agreed; losing the Rocky Mountain goats was a great shame. Where did they go?

The male has left the collection and i think mum polar and her daughter are kept off shownear the phillipine spotted deer until they are moved.

ISIS says they only have one female remaining.

the main reason they 'got rid' of the mountain goats was they had a lot of trouble with their feet and it caused a lot of stress to the animals to have to constantly capture them for treatment. I did like this species and colchester bred quite a few when they had them.

Do you know what the particular issue was, feet-wise? Is it something that is likely to not be a problem elsewhere (such as something in the soil)?
