I think there may be less(no?) grass now and far more flattened earth. Another very ugly enclosure IMO- with no attempt to naturalise it. Instead of the ugly wooden platforms, a couple of large piles of natural rocks(not fake ones!) would give the Geladas a more natural climbing substrate, some outdoor shelter from the weather and more variety too.

I will post a shot of the old bear enclosure in which the baboons were first held though not very tall it looked more natural than this and could have been heightened quite easily I thought.
 
went other day, all mud down the bottom and they put bark along the top part, plus they have added a few large rocks
 
I'm not surprised at the mud, a weather records book i have acess to showed tht in 2011 we had 18.84 inches of rain -about average for this part of Essex- last year 2012 we had 32.60 inches of rain. which i belive is a record for us.
