Is this the "Shores" exhibit or the "Inca Trail" exhibit for Humboldt penguins? What is the main reason for having two penguin exhibits featuring the same species so close together?
I think it was probably just a case of having a large group in a relatively small enclosure, so when the old sealion pool became available they made use of it. I can't think of anywhere else with 2 isolated penguin exhibits for the same species.
