This is a temporary enclosure - the permanent exhibit is under construction nearby and occupies a surprisingly large area given the crowded site.

The sun bears were held here temporarily while Bears of the Rising Sun was constructed (and the photo shows the old orangutan exhibit) but what became of this enclosure? What species is in here now?

I don't think the bears have moved to the new enclosure yet, actually!

Yes- still there yesterday, although the new enclosure is now certainly nearing completion.

The future plans are (I believe) for the troop of buffy-headed capuchins to move in there.
Another long term plan I heard was for the entire area surrounding this enclosure to be renovated as an indoor South America-themed tropical house that would include the buffy-headed capuchins and Cuban crocodiles along with various reptiles, birds and tamarins. However, all mention of this has now been removed from the zoo's website, so may not go ahead after all.
