Awesome. I didn't see any sea eagles when I was in Australia (saw ospreys though) but I saw one last year in Thailand. It's such an epic species to see!

I was watching some egrets and suddenly the ducks all took flight. I thought at first a dog was nearby, but I couldn't see one around, or anybody or anything else for that matter. Then I looked up.

I actually went looking for them. I traveled to the Krabi mangroves to look for 3 goal species; the white-bellied sea eagle, brown-winged kingfisher and mangrove pitta. Did not see the pitta, but the other 2 showed well that day. Also seen multiple reef herons, striated herons, collared kingfishers and brahamity kites there.
