New elephant enclosure

There's more space there than bull elephants normally receive in zoos.

This exhibit looks big, does anybody know how big it will be?

What you see in this pic is about a quarter of the entire enclosure (by my guess).
And the pool looks DEEP!

and as i think Hix pointed out, by covering over the original moats and using fences instead the zoo has delivered more space to the animals...
the exhibit has the capacity to hold up to two bull elephants permanently, but im guessing that it will be some time before, if ever that Gung has to share this exhibit with a rival (or son).
the space provided to Gung, plus the visits from the females and enrichment from keepers should keep him happy.
