A very nice shot of an attractive species; it is a shame nowhere other than Hamerton has them these days.

I was gutted when they left Cotswold, as you can probably tell from my pictures I do like my cats so to lose a species from my local zoo (even though they were on loan) was a shame. I believe that they also bred at least 2 or 3 times while they were there.

I think I must have seen them on most of my visits there but very difficult to photograph because there always seemed to be tree in the way.

They're nice and showy at Hamerton, which has a nice big population of them, so there is that consolation :)

I agree with Dave, they are a fantastic species and that's a fantastic photo. On my last visit to Cotswold these were the only one of my three target species I saw, the other two were wolverine (a ball of virtually invisible fur) and Pallas cat (completely invisible)!

At least I got to see one and it's the one that has since left the collection so I still have a chance at the other two! :D

I saw 4 on my first visit to Hamerton this year and 3 on my second visit.

No doubt I will be going back again next year or maybe before the end of the year if the new arrival is a new cat species I've not seen

I reckon that's the best Jaguarindi photo I've seen on here. Have only seen them once when they were at Cotswold. A pity they couldn't keep some of the offspring that were bred there.
