MADAGASCAN FODY (COLOUR MUTATION YELLOW)

This wonderful little bird was seen and photographed in the Madagascan Fody aviary .

The question is could this be a colour mutation of the Madagascan fody or is it a completely different species as the only signage around was for the Madagascan fody.

Question 2 where in the collection can I find the clouded leopard or as it moved on.

It's a weaver, not sure which as some are hybrids

clouded Leopards were in the old leopard exhibit last year

Unknown...

Looks like a Fody to me, possibly mutation or unusual colour phase.

As far as I could see this was the only one in the aviary, Bongorob 1 where is or was the leopard exhibit many thanks both for the info will be putting the bird in the Fody Folder as a mutation in colour.

Many thanks for the info and the link that looks exactly the same again many thanks for the help.

I have seen many of these yellow Madagascar Fodies and they are well recorded in the literature. they are slightly smaller than the red ones and do not have gonads.
