I read Benjamin Mee's book We Bought A Zoo and sort of expected to see photos of a bare-bones, basic fencing type of wildlife park. This otter enclosure is about as basic as it gets for whatever species of otter inhabits it.
I guess that Mee's just trying to make things a comfortable as he can for the animals with the money he's got, and that later on, as he gets more money, things will improve more
