This enclosure has recently been redecorated with new enrichment and plants.

Dartmoor Zoological Park: Monkey Business

The keepers are hoping to build a new enclosure in the near future.

It looks much better, wonder where they'll build a new enclosure for them?

I wonder if a walk through could b created with the vervet monkeys? I know theylive in close proximity to humans in the wild...if they did create a walk through it would really put dartmoor on the map of the zoo comunnity.

On another note I think the park could do with a few more primate species, nothing spectacular perhaps some tamarins, marmosets or lemurs.

A fundraiser is being held from the 24th of October to the 1st of November to help raise funds for the new vervet monkey exhibit.
The empty enclosure opposite the wolves will be demolished to make way for the new exhibit.
