recenly home to tigers, built for cheetah
I think it could work very well for tigers but if a bigger more safer version for tigers was built the other sad of the park, this could be the ultimate second enclosure for Jags if netted over with plenty of vegitation and glass windows it would be perfect allowing the jags a second bigger enclosure for breeding. And also allwing the tigers a bigger enclosure which would be perfect for Amurs.
Anyone like the idea?
Regards

I thought i should inform you that his enclosure is no longer empty!
It is now holding Red Foxes and Corsac Foxes, Being rotated on a montly basis,Im not sure whether this is a permanent move (I wouldnt think so but who knows?),
But as a temporary exhibit it seems pretty good :)
Dartmoor Zoological Park - Its the third section down.
I still think it should hold a bigger species like a second enclosure for Jags, But atleast Foxes are a start ;)

I'm sure they'll make good use of it eventually, and it must be great for the foxes :)

It seems very fitting: Grassy mounds where they can dig and survey their surroundings.

I think it goes quite well maybe in the future it could hold another Dog Species? What about Jackals?
They could make some use of this enclosure if there was mroe vegitation etc.
Foxes do seem quite fitting at the moment :), at least its a vast improvement on their last one.

Dholes would be perfect!
i dont think they would have to do much to the enclosure - height wise,With some Howletts style platforms on top and around it could work :).
Not being a particulary big species they would fit really well into this enclosure.
Very good thinking :)

This enclosure is now home to Seeta, a female cheetah. The walls are a lot taller than this photo shows as there is a large mound in the centre of the enclosure, but it dips down around the edges and is about 10 foot high. It's kind of like an empty moat. The silver foxes have a new enclosure and the red foxes are in the enclosure behind this one. Vladimir, Stripe and Blotch have a large enclosure across from this one. Tasmin has her very own enclosure. This picture isn't the best picture of the enclosure as it doesn't show much of the enclosure at all. Seeta is very happy in here.
I am currently studying an Animal Management course based at Dartmoor Zoo.
