I remember going in 2001 and seeing tiger cubs in the cafe (with a sign on the front saying no dogs!), was it these cubs and do you also remember this?
I don't recall seeing any animals in the cafe, but it is probable that the cubs you saw were these two as they were taken around the park on leads when I was there.
They are in the gallery on the Dartmoor Zoo website, so I presume they must still be living there.
That's them, although I think they have different names now.
I remember reading a report, and it mentioned that they were advertised as stripe and blotch but actually had different names when called by the keeper.
