Now disused and looking very aged (but is Grade 1 listed). The zoo is currently planning a major redevelopment programme which will incorporate these old 1930s buildings.

This could really be made into something good, for tigers or bears given a serious revamp which could be a bit 'dodgy' due to the listed status.
Its good to keep these reminders from the past, showing how brilliant zoo architecture can be but to re-use these once State of the art enclosures would be fantastic .
Maybe they should renovate it for the Tiger, then the Orangs could have her enclosure or vice-versa.
Or maybe the chimps could use it if they plan on giving them a new exhibit?
I think it would be easy to use for Tigers, would probably just be a case of doing what they did with the new Lion exhibit. They could probably even use the dens that are there now.
yes it would be really good for tigers get the river system back add trees rocks open up the walkway it would be brilliant. It would be amazing to see animals back in this magnificant enclosure
River system? Was that going through the enclosure? If so that would look very impressive with Tigers in, mix of large modern exhibit with the old listed building
an see by the tree is where the moat used to be ive only seen a pic of it like that but it followed down and may of made a waterful from where the fence curves.Im not sure but im sure it could be done!
It would be very impressive
