Pertinax here's what I was told last time I went.
The indoor viewing area will be through the doorway blocked off by the wood you can see in the photo.
Outdoor extension will be from the side by the Hunting dogs, it will go from the side of the Orangutan house into the Hunting dogs enclosure level with the over night enclosure at the top of the enclosure.
There will be a small loss of ground in the Hunting dog enclosure but not enough to worry the dogs as they use that ground very little if at all.
On the front part of the outdoor enclosure it is to be refurbished towards the end of this year still undecided as to the exact layout as there are three or four they could still use including filling in the moat.
All this sounds better then what they have had in the past but I'm still at a loss to what collection of Promate they intend to house in the Bear Ravine. As you can see when the zoo open in 1937 there where Chimpanzee's in the area right by the indoor enclosures as I said before when I questioned them about this they said wait and see.
