Spot Nosed Guenon kept in the 1980's ?

this was sent to me from pollypops on Birmingham History forum
I would like to know the species and where about\'s in the zoo this is
Any help of any kind would be a great help

Looks like some kind of Spotnose.
 
If I remember correctly, there were Schmidt’s guenons Cercopithecus ascanius schmidti in this building shortly after it opened.

That would fit with the yellow nose spot and reddish tail. It certainly looks like some form of C. ascanius.

You are correct Tim have checked my old photos of Dudley and I have a photo of one of these monkeys and I have listed as Schmidt’s guenons Cercopithecus ascanius schmidti.
