He replaced Makari on 15 / 04 / 2011 by agreement with WHF
Tamair was born in the Republic of Ireland on 7th November 1997 in a private collection; parentage is officially listed as Unknown.
He was moved to the care of Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne Hertfordshire in March 1998 along with his twin Brother Genghis who is now resident at Blair Drummond safari park in Stirling, Scotland and another tiger, Rocky who is resident at Paradise Wildlife Park.
Tamair moved to Wildlife Heritage Foundation in April 2005.
He is a Hybrid Tiger and like his brother has never been bred from nor will they be.
Tamair is on Loan to Dudley on the same arrangement as Makari was; an exact date for his return has not been established as yet.
