This was one of the better mammal exhibits at Taronga, because it hard a dirt floor. Virtually the entire zoo was concrete - floors, walls and roof. Ungulates, primates, carnivores, elephants, all kept on concrete. Even some Australian mammals (like Hairy-nosed wombats) were kept on concrete, and tree kangaroos were on concrete covered in sawdust.
