For the six years that I saw her (depending on her arrival date at Flamingo Park I may have seen her many years earlier) Flossie was very much my favourite Elephant. I recall there were various rumours about her death. For all the criticism of the exhibit at Dudley (I loved the small paddock, but not the house) I think she and Flora should have stayed where they were. Flossie had been there for over thirty years when all said and done. It is nice to see this photo showing Kasama at a quite young age. I did not see her until 1994 when I made my first visit to Dudley for twenty years.
