Yes that is Jazz, that part of the moat was only a coupe of foot deep. It had a gradual decline. So, if an ape did fall in they were able to climb back out. About time this outside enclosure was modernised though and made more suitable for the Orang's.
If an ape falls into water (even shallow water) it reacts like a small child. And there are reasons that you aren't supposed to have a pond in your garden when you have children and why kindergardens are not surrounded by water moats!
