His real name was 'Bukhama'. He was quite a small male and rather bad-tempered- possibly from a high turnover of staff.

The accompanying photo does not look as if its him- different shape...;)

Along with London's "Bobby" and Chester/Bristol's "Jason", he was the sorriest looking male gorilla I have ever seen (excluding "Jeremiah" at Bristol/London/Belfast of course ! ):rolleyes:.

The sad thing is an effort had finally been made, via the UK Gorilla group, to improve his lot- he was going to be sent to join Chessington's group and see if he would breed- sadly he died before it could be brought to fruiton.
