Absolutely. His proper name was 'Bukhama' and he was a handsome animal. 'Bonzo' always makes me think the late Vivian Stanshall*.
The sculpture is not too good, it would look better out of doors and set high up (ideally very, very high up). And as for that giraffe-skin pattern tablecloth . . . .
The sculpture does not capture his looks at all. Your photo of him is very typical- he was quite small but 'feisty' in temperament. A high turnover of staff in those days meant he was not very well 'trained' to zoo routines, and so was quite difficult to manage also.
