This area has been heavily cut back recently, as a result of an invasive relative of the ragwort plant... also hence it's sparse scattering of residents! It should be way greener, and was before our landscape team began taking measures!
Thanks for the explanation but I was really just looking at how 'wintry' the trees looked for this time of year. I'm sure its a pretty different scene now- a month later- though.
