The only enclosures I can think of opposite the Monkey House are the ones linked to the little house for the pudu and chevrotains, but I don't remember them looking like this: have I got this wrong?

That's correct. This one appeared as if it was being trained in the enclosure which was the left-most one looking at it from the exit of the monkey house.
I put this up as I think it's a new species to the zoo, likewise with the ring-tailed lemurs as neither are on zootierliste.
