It held Guinea baboons before the Pandas. It was originally built as an Ape House(for Gorillas and Orangutans) and not a very good one either. The two Panda outside areas are the old Ape outdoor areas, but radically converted/upgraded and landscaped and glass viewing windows added. Probably the best thing to happen to it.
