Former Cat Row at Edinburgh, 06/02/16

Now with displays about Scottish wildlife - including some with peep-holes to look through on cut out animals in the old enclosures. The only cats still along this path are the Scottish Wildcats and Sumatran Tigers.

The enclosures do not look too small when viewed at this angle (they certainly didn't look this big when in use!), and look like they could be repurposed quite nicely, especially for say Scottish wildlife - maybe turn a couple into aviaries and have beavers or martens or something in others? Keeping the Wild Cats too.

As discussed elsewhere, the eventual fate for this area is slated to comprise knocking the dividing walls down and converting it into a garden

Well, they haven’t even done anything with it, even the Scottish signs are looking run-down!
