Does Sydney have a new zoo, the Toronga Zoo? (sorry, don't like nit-picking myself either, but thought I would warn you before you upload more photos)

Actually, it's "Torogna Zoo".

Really? So I was wrong? I knew the name came from the language of the aboriginals that lived in the area previously. When and why did the change the spelling?

They didn't - your nitpicking had a typo in it!

Vulpes obviously can't spell 'Taronga'.

I'm a bit confused here; I know very well it is called Taronga Zoo; been there myself. When I wrote 'Toronga Zoo' in my initial post I was citing Vulpes.
