True, though I might note that the keeper seen here told me Brooke was gentle. She had been working with her for years, but zoo animals are always wild at heart and capable of everything. However, around the world you see keepers hand-feed sea-lions, even if a full grown male sea lion is quite capable of biting your hand off. I guess it depends on each animal's personality, history, etc how far the people around it can go with it, not just the species. Mind you that elephants are among the world's most dangerous animals; yet keepers around the world go in with them.
