Dolphin House 1970 left, 1975 or 1976 right

The animal on the left-hand picture is of course in the small pool. I\'m not sure about the exact year of the other photo. In 1976 I switched from gloss to matt finish, but this could have been earlier in the year than that. Alternatively it could have been in 1975, although I was using a Polaroid camera for at least some of that year (see Gomba photo!).

I thought the person with the dolphin was me at first, but then remembered I didn't wear red trousers. lol I was a dolphin and sea lion trainer from 1975 and the person in the photo is Robyn who I was working with. The small cage on the left (near the telephone in the corner) was for our parrot and the cage you see behind the glass doors into the Dispensary was for the monkey. Hard to believe that we had two seals in a tiny tin bath in the same room. I felt really sorry for them.

Memories!!

Aye..memories. Always remember the time a huge owl had escaped and was sat on top of the open door. I came in one morning and started to do a few jobs but kept getting the feeling I was being watched. I looked up to see a pair of beady eyes on me... eek! lol
