Was this where the bird 'walk-through' used to be? I can see the metal poles which presumably held up the netting?

I have to admit I was not 100% sure myself as I don't remember taking the photo (I do remember bending down to photograph the Lady Amherst's Pheasant in 1976). Having thought about it though I am pretty certain it is there - as you say the metal poles are there. It looks like it was taken a bit to the right of the Lady Amherst's one.
