I do not know how much will be open to the public - the track on the other side of the gate has never been open (it leads to the paddocks muck-heap and dumping area and also to the road to the village). Of course the Chimpanzee viewing area was tiny but previously there had been a public path all the way around the Elephant paddock. Later just the stretch between the Camels and the Peccaries was open. I expect the Rhino paddock will be a similar size to the one that was here for the Bison (residents after the Camels and before the Chimpanzees) when the viewing was to the right of the house only, i.e. similar to that for the Chimpanzees but with the animals having access to more of the area.
