24 January 2016 @ Flamingo Land. Home to Demoiselle Crane (Anthropoides virgo), Sacred Ibis (Threskiornis aethiopicus), Scarlet Ibis (Eudocimus ruber), Little Egret (Egretta garzetta) and Cattle Egret (Bubulcus ibis).

That's a surprise! I visited on the 16th and the birds had all been moved to the indoor accommodation at the farm due to the onset of the colder weather (they had been in here on all of my three visits around Christmas). I thought they would have been kept up there for the rest of the winter.

They released a Little Egret into the aviary while I was there, so this could be connected.

Ah, sounds like they were just being put back in then, but if we get another cold spell presumably they will all be moved out again. I was talking to their keeper about it, but didn't think to ask if they would be moved back as early as this if it did warm up as, as I say, I thought they'd now be in the farm until Spring.
