Until a year or so ago they had dozens of goat kids which would be brought out for bottle feeding by the public , seated on straw bales , in this area . The operation needed lots of staff but was very popular . Wonder if it was stopped because of staffing problems or the fear of the public catching something from the goats ?
Interestingly for a Farm Park they have no cattle , there were some in the past but they all disappeared , I assume this was to do with 'Health and Safety' . Plenty of sheep , goats , pigs , horses and donkeys .
I've got an idea that there were cattle in the paddocks on the right as you go in (from the far opposite corner to shown here), though I couldn't swear to it.
