This is absolutely one of the most bizarre enclosures I have ever seen. Is there more land area than just that dirt islet and the bank? And why do the tapirs need an entire lake to swim in?
There is a lot more land , in fenced yards and a house to the right . The lake also houses a variety of waterfowl . It is spectacular to watch the tapirs enjoying a swim in this large expanse of water .
