What is the cheetah exhibit look like as a whole, and is the tall, yellow 'savannah' grass pretty much year round?
I always wonder why more zoos don't use these types of grasses, I imagine costs of their upkeep, and the general difference in requirements that might not be able to be met in Britain [certain temps, humidities etc].

Cheetah exhibits - they have several including semi-offshow holding. They're all just open, grassy paddocks. I don't recall noticing the long grass on previous visits - could be my wonky memory or could just be they've stopped mowing the grass!
I'm not sure if it's 'special' grass or just unmown after a very dry summer.
