Lovely photo ro6ca66,could be in the Serengeti ;)

Is it taken through glass,or does their enclosure have a raised viewing area? I'm thinking of going here myself in the new year and was wondering how good the photography opportunities are?

It is a good place for photography. Most of the time, it is fence you would be shooting through, although they do have glass viewing for some enclosures. Unfortunately no raised viewing areas. Anything specific you want to photograph?

Nothing in particular zootiger. Probably the Cheetah cubs would be my main aim before they grow up too much, and also the white tigers. There are also lots of smaller cats that I have never even seen before never mind photographed.
The enclosure's that I have seen photos of don't look very conducive to quality photos with a realistic setting or backdrop. I know myself from some of the discussions I have had with fellow zoochaters about my local wildlife park (Y.W.P.),that until you see an enclosure in the flesh that sometimes its hard to really see how its set out.
Do they have any feeding times to get the animals up and about in the colder weather? Nothing is mentioned on their website.:(

All the cheetah enclosures, you would need a decent telephoto lens to shoot through the fence but should be ok. The white tigers are dead easy to photograph there, they have both glass and face viewing and they often position themselves well! I don't know if there are set feeding times but I believe most predators are fed at the end of the day there.
In terms of small cats- the jaguarundi's are easy to see, but the enclosure doens't look very natural. The servals are great, there are plenty of them, including cubs, and a lovely natural background for photos. The oncillas are very hard to see!

Haha absolutely! Last time I went I used a 50-500mm and a 120-300mm f2.8 (with 1.4 teleconverter- 168-420mm f4) and it was fine!
