Nice shot! How often does anyone get to see two of them in a zoo wide awake?!

Edinburgh was always pretty reliable for awake and active aardwolves the Eastern are much shyer than the Southern, incidentally.

I have never failed to see these since Hamerton,started keeping this sub-species,now the Southerns that they also keep is a very different story!

Thanks Blackduiker! This was, I think, the first time I'd seen both of them exploring their enclosure together, allowing active shots of both within the same frame. My previous shots of the pair together always had one or the other (or both) at rest.
