Outstanding Chimpanzee exhibit. It is 30 years old but I still wait to see a better exhibit anywhere and it is definitely my favourite Chimpanzee exhibit.
This is definitely an excellent chimpanzee exhibit, and I agree wholeheartedly with Baldur. Also, since it is closed and undergoing a renovation at the moment (mainly to the night quarters) does anyone know when it will reopen to the public?
It says 2011 on the online map. 30 years old but with renovation and good care it could be used for decades to come. So glad the zoo is not demolishing it totally but only improving the apes' living conditions.

And not only is the night quarters being renovated, but the entire exhibit which includes a very large climbing structure (a massive, 3 story dead tree trunk and other smaller yet large ones).
