Yes, but it's open to the public and very different to the way it was. This tree has been at the zoo a loooong time and it was nice to see it remain despite all the development around it.
That tree's one of the five or so big Morton Bay Figs that are heritage. Don't expect the management of such a commercial zoo to want such a natural wonder in a place that's been labeled to be Rendered Concrete and built up!
