The physical structure of the enclosure is the same, except for the addition of the mesh wall at the western end which makes the secondary enclosure, and an enlarged viewing area in that part of the exhibit.
The boardwalk is gone and a solid path (at what appears to be the same level as the boardwalk) has replaced it. The wooden fence has been replaced with a metal one. The viewing area at the eastern end has not changed. There are new signs, some quite large, and some audio displays which will be enabled in a few weeks when the chims have settled in again.
I'm planning on writing a short review of the chimp enclosure and the path to the tahrs very shortyly, when I have the time.
