Too right- as soon as I saw it, I was ready to award a Gold Star....
Definately the shot of the year for me- well done! What a New Year treat...
Apart from the adult stag, there is clearly at least one young male-sitting on the right -though I believe all the three born there may be male(?) I can't see any antler growth on the one by the manger though. They do need some more(unrelated) females now they have proved they can keep and breed them okay.
Two males from this group were recently sent to the Scottish Deer Centre who have taken surplus males from this group before. They could even be the two young males(?) in the foreground here, seven years on, now being adult stags. I don't believe any females have been born in this group to date though not sure if any of the most recent years' births have been female..
