Inhabitant finally on view at the third time of asking! The other half of the exhibit is densely planted and even in winter it is not possible to see the back of the exhibit.
Excuse me, but how can someone who regularly praises colchester call this a shoddy exhibit. It is, in my opinion, one of the best enclosures at Howletts and is actually one of the few exhibits where the barriers are obscured - why does it matter that it is not wood and wire?
Well said to me this enclosure is far better and natural for the animal than any of Colchesters fake rock work will ever be.
@ zooleopard just to ask a question that you seem not want to ANSWER have you actually seen this exhibit for yourself or just judgeing it from a photo?
Well zooleopard hasn't replied so I assume he/she hasn't actually visited so he/she is just going on aesthetics from this photo. I agree with you Jose, it's fine for the animals and it's not exactly ugly either.

no it certainly isnt ugly , its got plenty of foilage in the enclosure so the animal can hide , and its an elderly animal anyway i doubt whether its very active
