Nice photo Alan! Howletts would be terrific to visit just for the impressive primate collection, and I suppose that any primate fan touring England would have to see Twycross as well. There are many species at those two zoos that I've never seen in all of my various zoo visits.
I quite like the effect of the background, going from almost in focus on the left to completely out of focus on the right. There's a pleasing pattern to it.
I agree with Hix - no need to make excuses about the background. It only makes the picture more exciting. This is another master shot from a master photograher!
Does anyone know on what number this species is kept at howletts? do they breed freely? and is there any chance of these species possibly being found in any other zoo in the future?
