I thought it probably was but wasn't sure. There were still a few napkins in the straw with Happy birthday on them presumably left over from her 'party'.
Mouila was very vocal during a scatter feed which gave me sort of an Idea who she was, 'The boss' I think.
I noticed that several Gorillas have had there names removed from display boards don't know when this happened as it's been a while since my last visit. Some males from Kifu's group Kebu, Kouyou, Kangu and Fubu I thought perhaps they might form a new bachelor group at Port Lympne but also the female Moanda and the females Founa and Loulou from Kijo's old group.

Those four males are now at Port Lympne in the house near the de Brazza Monkeys. I don't know about the females though. Its possible there have been deaths or transfers to one of the other groups?
I contacted Howletts and they were very helpful
Lou lou Is still there I just missed her name, my mistake.
Sadly Founa, Kifu's Mother has died as has Moanda his daughter.
I thought she might have done if her nameplate was missing. Sad news as she was one of their earlier females, arriving as a baby(estimated birth 1971) in 1972 and living in the original kitchen garden run of cages before, along with Mushie, she became one of the founding females of Kijo's group. She only has two surviving young by Kijo- Kifu and FouFou but as Kifu has his own group and FouFou is breeding at Port Lympne, her genes are well represented.
