aha, John Aspinall really liked his tigers! bred over 350 of them in his lifetime at the zoo! - it was one the biggest collection of tigers in the world. Its not in the Uk anymore but i think it will be back in a few years!

Piles of vehicle tires in a tiger exhibit? Hmmm...I won't make any comments on that situation. One question that I do have: even with several deaths over the years, do the keepers still go in and handle the tigers?
Clouded leopards I can understand as they're small so they'd probably keep their distance, but with the snow leopards? Odd, and pretty risky. Did you see them do this in person?
Having been to Howletts yesterday and seen these enclosures i thought they where brilliant!
