Utilitarian indeed, but look where the tiger is, on the top of the highest platform. Modern zoo exhibits rarely indulge their tigers in this way but I think that is a shame.
On that platform is a sumatran tiger called amir and his mate indah is nowhere to be seen. However now they have been moved to the former enclosure of tiger Zcabbie and Little Boy. Also the enclosure they are in is the former enclosure of Balkash and Suzie to Siberian Tigers. Balkash was in the top 20 biggest tigers eveer!

Where was Zeya's enclosure by curiousity if anyone knows?
This enclosure now has Manas and Lahore a pair of Bengals Tigers. I think this enclosure has seen all three species of tiger in there at some point it is a lovely enclosure, they have bred over 400 Bengals and around 70 siberians, and are hopeful to have their first litter of Sumatrans sometime within the next year or so
