I remember being amazed when I found this. A Howletts exhibit with a species that isn't a carnivore, primate or ungulate!

There really aren't many - only the weird python window and the anteater/capybara area spring to mind otherwise (plus technically elephants I suppose!).

Python window appeared to be no longer used when i was there in April, unless that was temporary

That's odd - that had been there a long time I understand (down by the entrance to the walled garden area where one of the gorilla complexes is).

That's where i thought you meant, it wasn't in use in April, but could have been for refurbishment, but it looked permanent to me, and there were no signs of any kind.

Hmmm... even fewer non-mammals there now then!

I stumbled across the 'Jurassic mine' accidentally. An odd (but welcome) addition to a gift shop.

Unfortunately the pythons have left the collection. A sign on the boards covering the viewing windows said that they've been "relocated to a larger enclosure at another park."

Thanks for confirming this, i was worried i may have made another poor observation, like a couple of others i made on that visit in the main thread!
