It would be a definite yes from me too, though recent noises coming from its owner do make me less keen to promote it than previously!
It is an exclusively all mammal collection as previously noted, which suits me, but wouldn't please everyone.
As gentle lemur and pipaluk mention, it depends on your tastes. It is a very interesting experience though, and I thoroughly recommend it. Not really arranged with photography or animal viewing in mind, most visitors walk around slightly confused about how they've yet to see some animals. I think that it's probably one of the most interesting places on the planet to watch captive gorillas, and maybe also free-roaming humans.
They bred the species way back in 1972,which was certainly a UK first breeding of the species,but it was also claimed to be the first anywhere in captivity!As far as I know I don't think they bred them again,but I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong!
Are the easy to see? Often with the aspinall exhibits the animals just stay indoors or are kept away far from the public view! So are you are likely to come across them or do they require luck? Thanks
